So, guys, I am studying for ORE myself but I will try to share as much information as I can along with study materials,If anyone else has any more information or study material kindly share with each other. So lets start,
Part 1 of the Licence in Dental Surgery (LDS) is comprised of two written papers: single best answer (SBA) questions and extended matching (EMQ) questions , each of three hours duration, taken on the same day.. Both Part 1 papers must be passed at one sitting for candidates to progress to Part 2.
The Part 1 LDS exam is normally held at least once per year in the UK.
Papers are centred mainly on knowledge and its application to:
A. Clinically applied dental science and clinically applied human disease.
B. Aspects of clinical dentistry, law and ethics, and health and safety.
Both papers must be passed at a single sitting to pass LDS Part 1. If either paper is failed a
candidate will be required to re-sit all of Part 1.Candidates are permitted a maximum of four attempts at Part 1.
